Conformity assessment system established in Latvia has been recognized in the European Union. Thanks to this fact, Latvia has the opportunity to notify the accredited conformity assessment bodies for registration to the European Commission, thus ensuring a formal recognition of their conformity assessment results by all member states. 

Certification

LATSERT is EC notified body under the Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 – CE certification of fertilisers under module B (institution No. 1326)

LATSERT is EC notified body in the field of EC type examination of toys in accordance with the Directive No. 2009/48/EC (notified body No. 1326).

Testing

LATSERT laboratory is included in the EC official lists of approved laboratories for testing of fertilizers (Regulation 2003/2003/EC); cigarettes (Directive 2014/40/EU); the official analysis in wine sector (Regulations 436/2009, 1234/2007, 555/2008).
